A flexible team of trained employees is ready to pack or repack your fruit and vegetables. We are happy to discuss any customer-specific wishes with you. This requires a streamlined organization. The latest ICT facilities support this process. Where automation can speed up our processes, we use it. Good personal contact is guaranteed through short lines with all responsible employees. This decisiveness is reminiscent of the origins of Greenpack: the company was founded by large tomato growers who wanted to optimize the logistics of fresh products. An objective that has only become more important in the food sector these days.

With a high degree of Quality and (Food) Safety culture within the organization, we train our employees on our processes. The packaging process within Greenpack meets all conceivable requirements in the field of hygiene and food safety. Internally we use a quality system that is leading in the fruit and vegetable sector. We update the system every year based on the stricter regulations. Additional external certifications such as BRC Food, IFS Food and QS increase that certainty even further.

 

Greenpack in Maasdijk  is one of the largest packaging and distribution centers for fruit and vegetables in Western Europe. The entire internal process is aimed at efficient and food-safe processing of products. And fast is really fast at Greenpack: products harvested in the morning are often already packaged according to customer specifications and ready for distribution to customers all over the world in the afternoon. The location is ideal: right on the A20 highway, 10 minutes from the Stena Line terminal in Hoek van Holland and 20 minutes from the port of Rotterdam.

BRC Global Standard - Food Level A+

Qualität & Sicherheit (SQ) is a certification system from Germany, specially developed for the fruit and vegetable sector. The emphasis is on food safety, transparency and traceability. Many German retailers use the certificate.

RIK

The Internal Quality Control Regulations (RIK) are an initiative of the KCB (Quality Control Agency) and the PD (Plant Health Service). The purpose of the regulations is to ensure optimal compliance with the regulations regarding the quality control of fruit and vegetables. Companies that comply with the regulations are allowed to inspect products themselves.

The certification body MPS-ECAS declares that the business processes comply with the standard: GLOBALG.A.P. Chain of Custody - Control Points and Compliance Criteria Version 6.0_September 2019.

Approved inspection location

Greenpack is recognized as an inspection location in the phytosanitary field. This is important when importing products from countries that are not part of the European Union.

 

In Legnica  is our second location. This location contributes, among other things, to the implementation of sustainable logistics and flexibility in the supply chain. Greenpack Legnica is a modern packaging hall conveniently located on the A4 and E65 motorways.
